Samsung unveiled its latest M-series phone in India. The Galaxy M17 is the M variant of the Galaxy F17, which launched last month as a rebadged Galaxy A17. This makes the M17 the third variant of the same phone.

The only differentiating factors are the available colors – Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black, as well as pricing, which starts INR 12,499 ($141) for the 4/128GB model, making the M17 the most affordable entry from the trio. Samsung is also offering a 6/128GB trim for INR 13,999 and an 8/128GB for INR 15,499.
Galaxy M17 features the same camera setup as the Galaxy F17 and A17 models
To recap the specs, Galaxy M17 brings a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display (FHD+ 90Hz), Exynos 1330 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging. The back houses a 50MP main cam alongside a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth helper. Galaxy M17 ships with One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, and it gets the same 6 years of software and security updates.

Samsung Galaxy M17 is set to go on open sale from October 13 via Samsung India and partnering retailers.
