OnePlus’ one and only foldable smartphone, the Open, has today joined the Android 16 party. It’s started to receive the update to OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.
So far the rollout is only taking place in India, but OnePlus promises it will spread to other regions soon. Over there, the update arrives over-the-air as build CPH2551_16.0.0.201(EX01).

The update is going out in batches, so if you have a OnePlus Open purchased from India and haven’t been notified about it yet, don’t worry, it should be arriving in the next few days.
The changelog is massive as it was for the OnePlus 12 which got its update yesterday, so we’d advise you to jump on over to the Source linked below if you want to go through it – grab a coffee on the way, though, it will take a while.
