Other models across Pioneer’s car audio and infotainment range have also been revised in line with the lower tax rate.

New Delhi: Pioneer India, a car audio-visuals solutions company, on Wednesday said it has reduced the maximum retail prices (MRPs) of its popular in-car entertainment systems following the GST Council’s decision to cut tax rates on such products from 28 per cent to 18 per cent. The revised prices came into effect from September 22, 2025.

The company said revised labels reflecting the updated MRPs have been shipped from September 22 to ensure that customers benefit directly from the GST rationalisation. Pioneer has also instructed its authorised partners and distributors to implement the new pricing across all sales channels.

The move translates into lower retail prices for several of Pioneer’s widely sold models. For instance, the DMH-Z5290BT/XNID is now available at ₹27,647 compared with its earlier price of ₹29,990. The MVH-G219BT/XNID has been reduced to ₹12,805 from ₹13,890, while the premium DMH-ZF9650BT/XNES has been repriced at ₹1,07,481 from ₹1,16,590.

Other models across Pioneer’s car audio and infotainment range have also been revised in line with the lower tax rate.

The GST Council’s move to rationalise tax slabs is expected to make in-car entertainment and infotainment upgrades more affordable, potentially boosting replacement demand in the passenger vehicle segment.
