OnePlus unveiled the Ace 6 alongside the flagship 15 last month, but apparently the Ace 6 family still isn’t complete. You may have expected an Ace 6 Pro to arrive at some later point, and that could still happen, but in the meantime OnePlus is preparing the Ace 6 Pro Max.
It’s definitely a bit strange how Chinese smartphone makers seem to have all collectively decided to use the Pro Max suffix this year – hi Xiaomi and Oppo. Sure, this is obviously ‘inspired’ by Apple, but why it took so long is a mystery – Apple’s been doing the Pro Max thing for a while, after all. Anyway, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max’s box was allegedly captured in the two images you can see below.
It looks just like any other OnePlus box, and the Pro Max moniker is there right under the Ace text. Unfortunately, no specs have been outed alongside these images, but there is some speculation online that this will be the first device to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC (not to be confused with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5). We’ll let you know when we find out more about it.
