The OnePlus 15 is seemingly right around the corner. As per the latest rumors, the phone will get a global announcement on October 13. So, by the looks of things, the phone may have one unveiling event for all markets: China and the global market. OnePlus has been keeping a rather tight lip regarding the phone’s specs up until now, basically only confirming that it will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform.

Thanks to a new leak on Weibo, we now have a much more in-depth specs sheet for the unannounced OnePlus 15. Take it with a grain of salt, of course.

Allegedly, the phone features a 6.78-inch, 1.5K, BOE X3 AMOLED display with LTPO technology and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 165Hz, as well as Dolby Vision and Pro XDR support, with an advertised brightness of 1,800 nits.

In the chipset department, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, as already mentioned, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Apparently, the memory tiers will include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. However, these might differ per region. There will also be Wind Chi Game Kernel 2.0 tech on board.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 15 apparently has a triple 50MP setup on the rear, with a Sony LYT-700 sensor on the main camera (24mm, f/1.8, OIS) and two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors – one for the 0.6x ultrawide (15mm, f/2.0) and one for the 3.5x telephoto (85mm, f/2.8, OIS).

Other leaked specs include a large 7,300 mAh third-generation glacier battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. A new generation of linear dual speakers, a large volume vibration motor, a new generation wet hand touch algorithm, an under-display fingerprint reader of the ultrasonic variety, a new generation cooling system, multi-function NFC and IR blaster and a USB 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps) Type-C port.

We don’t have pricing information yet, but according to the leak, the OnePlus 15 will be available in Purple, Titanium, or Black in the memory tiers we previously mentioned.
